     Ekon av ett rum Echoes of a Room

    A closed room, a door, a doorframe, from inside the room comes the sound of someone writing. Installation view: Solo exhibition at Stadsbiblioteket in Malmö


    Echoes of a Room is a reconstruction of a room. The room is a closed scene which the viewer moves around. The sound of someone writing can be heard from the room. The room is also an attempt to cast the act of writing.

    “The door to one of the rooms cannot be opened. From inside the room you can hear the sound of someone writing. This sound of intense writing slowly subsides. Suddenly there is a pause. The outside of one room is often the inside of another room, but this room does not function as an inside for any other room.

     The sound of writing returns.”
