The video of a moth flickers between a positive and a negative image. During the process of the video the insect is transported through the digital screen light to the light sensitive paper and then back to the digital screen. The moth is disoriented, it flies time after time after the light of the bulb, mistaking it for the moonlight and finally dies of the heat of the bulb. The installation can be seen as a fragment from a scene, a staged image, a play that never started but was caught in the prologue, which is being repeated again and again. The sound of the insect can be heard from behind the shadow wall.
